One of things that makes a Historical Building so awesome is that… well.. you can tell that it’s Historic! It’s been around a long time and has been a part of the lives of many generations! Very cool! So when it came time to apply film to the Silo Restaurant, we worked closely with the Texas Historical Society to ensure that the window film used would not change the appearance of the windows and still provide an amazing performance. The result is that 3 different products were used at this location. 3M Prestige 50 Solar Film was used in the dining areas to provide heat rejection for customer comfort, while 3M Exterior Frost on the arch openings and Interior Frost on the lower openings blocked the kitchen equipment and provided diner privacy.
